The SNIA Storage Networking Certification Program (SNCP) establishes a uniform standard for the storage networking industry by which individual knowledge and skill sets can be verified. The program provides a strong foundation of vendor-neutral, systems level credentials that will integrate with and complement individual vendor certifications.
You can expect to receive a pdf version of your certificate in two (2) to three (3) weeks. SNIA gets a data feed from Prometric. Then we catalog and send out your certificates.
The storage networking industry is advancing rapidly and skill sets and knowledge need to be kept current. SNIA Certifications will be versioned, with new versions introduced as technology and industry changes warrant.

Prior to the SNCP, there had been no single standard by which to judge a professional's knowledge of storage networking technologies. Through its certification program, the SNIA is working to establish open standards for storage networking certification that IT organizations can trust. For professionals, certification through the SNIA SNCP is validation of an individual's level of storage networking knowledge and expertise.
For organizations, SNIA SNCP certification will provide employers with a benchmark against which to measure employees' skills. The SNCP will provide a level of assurance that employees have the requisite skills and abilities to support the deployment of storage networks.
